Drunken Oakland Man Discovers Gunshot Wounds After Returning Home

An Oakland man who returned home "very drunk" early this morning, Saturday, didn't know he'd been shot, police said. His parents realized he had gunshot wounds and took him to the hospital.

An intoxicated Oakland man discovered he had been shot this morning, Saturday, only after he returned home, a police officials said today.

The man returned home "very drunk" around 5 a.m. to his home on the 3100 block of High Street, according to Officer J. Moore.

It was only after he returned home that his parents realized he had gunshot wounds and took him to the hospital.

Moore said the man was listed in stable condition, but was refusing to cooperate with investigators. No suspect information was available.
