Fatal Berkeley Motorcycle Crash Probed

BERKELEY, CA — A man was killed in a motorcycle crash early Sunday morning, Berkeley police said.

Police said the victim is a man in his 50s.

The crash was reported at 12:30 a.m. on Adeline Street between Alcatraz Avenue and Sanford Street, police said.

The motorcyclist was traveling northbound on Martin Luther King approaching Adeline when for unknown reasons he crashed into the center median, a tree and a light pole, police said.
