​ Lake Chalet in Oakland Announces a Whitehall Lane Wine Dinner

Lake Chalet Seafood Bar & Grill in Oakland will host a Whitehall Lane Wine Dinner on Tuesday, June 11 from 5:30 to 8:30 PM. Tickets are priced at $120.00 and diners will be able to enjoy multiple courses from Executive Chef Ray Wirtz paired with five of Whitehall Lane's award-winning varietal wines. To start there will be a Burrata Salad with Yolo County peach, heirloom tomato, mint, basil, and a golden balsamic reduction paired with a Whitehall Lane Napa Sauvignon Blanc 2022 followed by Lobster Brioche with Maine lobster tail, Old Bay aioli, marinated tomatoes, pepper roasted pork belly, and frisee on toasted brioche with a Napa Valley Merlot 2019. Next will be Huli Huli Glazed Mahi-mahi with roasted sweet corn succotash, coconut jade pearl rice, and crispy garlic with a Whitehall Lane Petaluma Gap Pinot Noir 2020 and then New York Steak Jo Jos with fig and onion confit, black garlic sauce, and Yukon gold potatoes and a Whitehall Lane Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2020. The dessert, Brownie Bottomed Cheesecake with Luxardo cherry sauce, will be paired with a Tre Leoni Red Blend 2020.

Whitehall Lane has been recognized for producing world-class wines by Wine Spectator Magazine and in 2003 it was the first winery in the world to seal its bottles with Vino-Seal glass stoppers.
