The BART train that broke down in the Transbay Tube and caused major delays this morning, Wednesday, has been cleared with full service restored, but 15-minute delays can be expected, according to news reports.

A train leaving West Oakland toward San Francisco broke down in the tube, forced single-tracking through the tunnel under the Bay, KCBS reported.

By 9:48 a.m., it had been cleared and trains were running both ways through the tube, the radio station said.
