Man Sets Fire To UC Berkeley Library Lawn: Police
The incident is still under investigation by the University of California Police Department.
BERKELEY, CA — A man set fire to a patch of dry grass on the north side of C. V. Starr East Asian Library at around 10:15 on Saturday night, police alleged in a WarnMe alert sent just after 2 a.m. on Sunday.
Police say the suspect left the area by traveling northbound on Euclid Avenue, towards Cedar Street.
The incident is still under investigation by the University of California Police Department. The associated case number is #24-01608.
