Update: Missing Boy Found Safe
A 9-year-old boy who disappeared from his North Oakland home around 11:30 a.m. today, Tuesday, was found safe by Oakland police shortly before 7 p.m., police said.

A 9-year-old boy who went missing in Oakland this morning was found safe this evening, a police spokeswoman said.
Nathaniel Binder had last been seen at his family's North Oakland home in the area near the MacArthur BART station at about 11:30 a.m., police said.
Police located Nathaniel safe in Oakland shortly before 7 p.m., Officer Johnna Watson said.
