Share Your Parking and Traffic Nightmares in Berkeley

Driving in Berkeley can sometimes be a confusing, demanding and even frustrating venture. Dual lanes disappear into one without warning. Busy intersections with unprotected left turns yield long lines of impatient cars trying to squeeze past before the light turns yellow. Cyclists barter for road space on packed city streets.

And then, once the driving is done, there is still the problem of parking. Two-hour limits and coin-operated parking meters make finding a spot in Berkeley a challenge at times. Meanwhile, the ticket police are everywhere, flying around the streets in their golf buggies, vigilant and unwavering.
