Shots Fired During Berkeley Robbery: Report

Four teen suspects were arrested in connection with the robbery of a Big O Tires store, Berkeleyside reports.

BERKELEY, CA — Four teens were arrested Saturday night in connection with a Berkeley robbery in which gunshots were fired, police said, Berkeleyside reports.

No injuries were reported but two vehicles were damaged, according to the report. A bullet went through a window of a vehicle occupied by a woman, the report said.

Police seized three handguns and a rifle, according to the report.

Officers at around 5:10 p.m. Saturday responded to a report of a robbery at the Big O Tires store at 2625 San Pablo Ave., the report said.

The masked suspects fled in a vehicle but were arrested after a search that involved air support, drones and K-9s provided by allied agencies, the report said.
