Crash Cleared From Berkeley Freeway

BERKELEY, CA -- A car crash Tuesday afternoon blocked a Berkeley area freeway. The California Highway Patrol said the incident happened around 3:27 p.m. on westbound Interstate 80 near University Avenue.

An ambulance was called to the scene, according to the CHP incident log.

A sig-alert was issued at 3:42 p.m., but canceled at 4:18 along with the announcement that all lanes were again open.
