Viewfinder: Hunting for Treasure at Bazaar Gilman

Bazaar Gilman opened in February with the artsy Nicole Schach at the helm. The "community marketplace," as Schach calls it, is huge and its contents changes week to week. "It kind of becomes an art installment," said Schach, who is also an artist. 

The variety under in the labyrynth of tents is astonishing, with everything from china tea sets and plants to an old jukebox, art, clothes, furniture and bikes. Most of the goods are bought from locals, a few are donated, and others are simply found in various places and integrated into the collection.
