BEVERLY HILLS, CA — The Beverly Hills Police Department made two arrests Wednesday after a short search that ended near South Beverly Drive and Olympic Boulevard, according to the Lt. Giovanni Trejo, public information officer for BHPD.

Officers attempted to pull over a vehicle wanted in connection to a burglary investigation just before 4 p.m., but the vehicle did not immediately stop, Trejo said.

Details on the burglary investigation were not immediately available.

The vehicle stopped shortly after and the two women who stepped out of the vehicle were taken into custody, Trejo said. Officers did not close the surrounding area.

Officers used surveillance cameras and a helicopter to find the two women, Trejo said.
