A shoe repair shop, a bakery and a flower shop are among some of the storefronts broken into along Olympic and Wilshire boulevards.
A burglar broke into eight businesses early Sunday and made off with an unknown amount of cash, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.
Six of the storefronts are in a strip mall near the 9100 block of Olympic Boulevard, while two shops are near the 8600 block of Wilshire Boulevard, said Officer Brian Balleweg. The break-ins occurred sometime between 3-6 a.m., he said.
Among the businesses targeted by the burglar were a bakery, a shoe repair, a nail salon and a flower shop, Balleweg said.
