Alfred Coffee Teams Up With 818 To Bring Boozy Drinks To LA Tearoom

WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA — Alfred Coffee celebrated a boozy National Tequila Day over the weekend with a very Instagammable pop-up in West Hollywood.

The Los Angeles favorite teamed up with Kendall Jenner's 818 Tequila brand to offer free "tea-quila" drinks and coffee cocktails on Saturday, the day before National Tequila Day. From 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, nearly 1,000 Angelenos tasted free tequila cocktails at Alfred Tea Room's West Hollywood location, located at 8509 Melrose Ave.

Alfred and 818 offered a number of tea and coffee-inspired cocktails featuring the San Fernando Valley inspired tequila including: a spiked peach Arnold Palmer, a Carajillo cold brew coffee and a guava and hibiscus cocktail.

The most popular cocktail was the Sip of Summer, a guava, hibiscus and lime drink paired with 818 Tequila Reposado.

"What better way to celebrate National Tequila Day than with a fellow LA-based brand and delicious tea and coffee based cocktails," an 818 Tequila spokesperson told Patch over email.

The brands also offered 818 Tequila merch and snacks at Saturday's event.
