Beverly Hills Encourages Residents To Participate In 2020 Census
"Be Counted Beverly Hills" encourages residents to participate in the 2020 Census either by mail, online or phone.
BEVERLY HILLS, CA — The City of Beverly Hills launched “Be Counted Beverly Hills,” a Census 2020 campaign encouraging residents to participate in the Census either by mail, online or phone, the City announced Monday.
The City said the Census is conducted every 10 years and the data informs funding for programs such as early childhood education, senior nutritional programs and more. The data collected is also used to determine California’s apportionment in the U.S. House of Representatives, the press release said.
"The information our residents provide to the U.S. Census Bureau will help to ensure critical federal funding for important programs that truly make an impact in our community," Beverly Hills Mayor John Mirisch said.
