Beverly Hills Is Making Parking Faster And Easier
The city is busy working on improving the parking experience across its 5,942 parking spots.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Progress is already underway on a project to overhaul city-owned parking facilities, which Beverly Hills says will make parking and easier, faster and better experience.
The project involves replacing existing parking equipment and software used at 19 city-owned parking facilities, including gate arms, ticket dispensers, cash registers, pay-on-foot-machines, validation machines, monthly parking keycards and license plate recognition.
Those lots and garages include 5,942 parking spots.

The city says the project will streamline parking operations to improve customers' experience; make parking easier thanks to new, conveniently placed payment stations; add touchless transactions for monthly parking users; address missing or lost tickets using license plate readers; enable real-time data collection by the city to improve the parking experience; and tie in parking facilities with the Police Department, city website and CCTV.
The city has completed work on the first of four phases of the project. For a complete timeline and list of parking facilities, visit the city's website.
