Beverly Hills Police Make 2 Arrests In Tuesday's Home Robbery

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Beverly Hills police made two arrests in connection with an armed home invasion robbery in the city, according to Chief Mark Stainbrook.

Charles Daniel Chiodo of Sylmar and Anthony Chavez Avila of Lancaster were both charged with robbery, authorities said. Chiodo was additionally charged with conspiracy, according to police.

Police continued to follow up on leads and were confident all suspects will be arrested in near future, Stainbrook said.

"Crime of any kind will never be tolerated in the city of Beverly Hills," Stainbrook said.

Police responded to a report of a robbery early Tuesday morning in the 700 block of North Camden Drive, according to Lt. Giovanni Trejo, public information officer for the Beverly Hills Police Department.

At least one of the three invaders was armed with a handgun, but there were no reported injuries, Trejo said.

Three people entered a house and forced residents to surrender property, Trejo said.
