Beverly Hills Police Respond To Attempted Robbery
Authorities are searching for two suspects after an attempted robbery in Beverly Hills.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Beverly Hills police are searching for two suspects after an attempted robbery Friday afternoon, according to the Beverly Hills Police Department.
The suspects are thought to have fled Beverly Hills, according to police. No injuries had been reported Friday evening, according to Giovanni Trejo, public information officer for BHPD.
Police contained the 200 block of South Beverly Drive just after 3:09 p.m. and concluded their search of the scene around 5:19 p.m., according to police. BHPD will continue to investigate, police said.

BHPD responded to a physical altercation at the 200 block of South Beverly Drive at 3:09 p.m. Two men, one armed with a handgun, approached a victim who was near or in their car, police said. Police initially thought the incident was an attempted carjacking but later determined it to be an attempted robbery, according to police.
Twitter videos of the incident show two people seemingly pulling the victim out of his black Lamborghini while onlookers film and honk their horns. The two are seen running away from the car.
