BEVERLY HILLS, CA — North Rexford Drive will be reduced to one lane in both directions starting Wednesday.

The closure will occur near the intersection of Burton Way and South Santa Monica Boulevard and will last until June 10, according to the city of Beverly Hills. Driveway access on Rexford Drive will not be affected.

The closure is part of the city's Burton Way Median project, which will help the city's storm drains catch clean water when it rains. The Burton Way median will be the city's first green street, a street designed to slow down runoff to filter pollutants out of runoff before it reaches the storm drains.
