Doris Day's Estate To Be Auctioned Off
All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Doris Day Animal Foundation.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Julien's Auctions will be selling property from the Doris Day estate in April, with all proceeds to benefit the Doris Day Animal Foundation, it was announced Wednesday.
The items to be sold on April 4 and 5 include Doris Day's film costumes, classic car, furniture, memorabilia, awards and more from her home in Carmel-by-the-Sea, including a brass embossed elephant jardiniere gifted by Rock Hudson. The sale will take place starting a day after what would have been her 98th birthday.
The animal foundation was founded in 1978 and funds nonprofit causes that need assistance in their work caring for and protecting animals.
