Ex-'Wheeler Dealers' Host Cited For Driving Leopard Print Sofa
Edd China, former host of "Wheeler Dealers," drove from Los Angeles to Las Vegas in his leopard print sofa vehicle.
BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Edd China, a wacky inventor and former host of Discovery Channel's "Wheeler Dealers,"drove from Los Angeles to Las Vegas in a leopard print sofa vehicle.
The mechanic had some star-powered guests, including entertainer Jay Leno, on his "American Sofari" in the couch car, Jalopnik reported. The "Casual Sofa," as China calls it, came complete with a floor lamp and a table with sunflowers and a plant on either side.
Beverly Hills police weren't as enthralled with the funky sofa sedan. They posted a photo of China on Facebook earlier this month, with his face blurred out for privacy, and wrote "This 'vehicle' was stopped on Rodeo Drive and the driver was cited for operating an unsafe vehicle."

However, it was pretty easy to identify the driver, considering there is a big "EddChina.com" embroidered on the side of the sofa. And yes, there was a reason for the quirky road trip.
"Crazy cool, isn't it? Well, I am on a road trip as a part of the CTEK Road to SEMA 2019 as well as promoting my new book, Grease Junkie," China wrote on his website.

The Casual Lofa made an appearance with China at the SEMA show, an automotive specialty products trade event in Las Vegas, earlier this month.
