STUDIO CITY, CA — A busy stretch of Laurel Canyon Boulevard was completely shut down Friday afternoon as crews worked to repair a broken water line, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The closure was on the San Fernando Valley side of Laurel Canyon Boulevard between Fryman Road and Mulholland Drive.

The closure came after a water line broke on the 3300 block of North Laurel Canyon Boulevard in Studio City after 3 p.m., resulting in flooding.
