Why are you seeking elective office?

The single most pressing issue facing our City is Public safety and ensuring our city is safe for residents and visitors. I am endorsed by the BH Police Officers Association because I am 100% committed to working to address this, including adding additional officers to our police department and increasing resources for training and technology to keep our citizens safe.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I am a lifelong resident of Beverly Hills and have dedicated much of the last twenty years serving the people of Beverly Hills. I am the only candidate that has been endorsed by a wide-ranging group of organizations – representing business, public safety and community concerns.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community?

The incumbents lack the experience I will bring in terms of problem solving and Planning – which will be critical as we deal with another issue facing our community, - affordable housing.

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

Sustainable and environmentally conscious growth. Encouraging new projects that represent the unique character of Beverly Hills and that we can all be proud of.

Support for our businesses which are still trying to recover post covid and creating a business climate to encourage new businesses to open and our existing businesses to expand

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

My experience as a very successful producer combined with my time on the Beverly Hills Planning and City's Traffic and Parking Commissions provides me the knowledge and experience necessary to help govern the city successfully. I have the unique mix of private sector experience AND government experience which I think will allow me to be a very successful member of City Council.

The best advice ever shared with me was:

Michael Bloomberg told me “if you are the smartest person in the room, you are in the wrong room.” “Surround yourself with the right people” One cannot underestimate the importance of having the right team surrounding them. I always strive to have the best people advising me and near me.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
