A struggle ensued and the woman was able to break free and find safety in her neighbor's apartment, deputies said.
About two hours later the suspect struck again on the same block. He removed a kitchen window and entered a woman's home. The woman screamed as he entered as the man continued into her home, where he threatened her. The woman fled her apartment, deputies said.
