Rodeo Drive Storefronts Vandalized Over Night

Police said several storefronts along the famed Rodeo Drive shopping district in Beverly Hills were smashed early Friday morning.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA -- Several storefronts along Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, including a Dolce and Gabbana store, were vandalized early Friday morning and police are searching for a suspect.

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. on the 300 block of North Rodeo Drive and the 100 block of South Rodeo Drive, the Beverly Hills Police Department said. The vandalism damaged four stores along the high-end shopping district, police said.

A male suspect used a car to smash the glass storefronts and entrances of three separate retail boutiques and one office building, police said. Nothing was taken from the stores, police said.

The department released a photo believed to be the car used to commit the vandalism. It was described as a black Mercedes R-Class with white paper plates and black lettering.

The suspect was described as a white man, between 20 to 25 years of age with a thin build. He was seen wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a black baseball cap at the time of the alleged incidents, police said.

Nothing was taken from the stores, police said.
