Santa Monica, Wilshire Boulevards To Shut Down For Golden Globes
Major road closures are planned in Beverly Hills and Westwood this week as part of preparations for the Golden Globes.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — A week-long series of lane and sidewalk closures begin Tuesday on North Santa Monica and Wilshire boulevards in Beverly Hills ahead of the Golden Globes.
The closures will be in effect around the intersection of Santa Monica and Wilshire in preparation for the Golden Globes, which will take place Sunday at the Beverly Hilton.

Curb lanes on portions of both streets will be shut down beginning Tuesday.

The lanes and sidewalks on portions of "big" Santa Monica (North Santa Monica Boulevard) and Wilshire Boulevard will be completely closed at some points over the weekend.
"Little" Santa Monica (South Santa Monica Boulevard) will remain open in both directions during the closure of the main thoroughfare.
