Heavy rains and storm weather prompted road closures in and around Beverly Hills Monday.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Heavy rains and storm weather prompted a closure on Mulholland Drive over the weekend.
The Los Angeles Department of Transportation on Friday closed Mulholland Drive in both directions between Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Coldwater Canyon Drive due to storm conditions. The closure remained in place Monday with no estimate on its duration, according to LADOT.
The greater Los Angeles was doused with rain Monday and expected to see up to 7 inches of rain from Monday afternoon to Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service. Mountains and hills would see between 3-6 inches of rain.
