Wilshire, Santa Monica Boulevards Impacted By Lane Closures This Week
Two major east-west thoroughfares in Beverly Hills will be impacted by lane closures in the coming days.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Lane closures will be in effect on Wilshire and Santa Monica boulevards in the coming days due to a a construction project, officials said.
Wilshire Boulevard near the Los Angeles Country Club and El Rodeo School will be impacted. The road will be temporarily reconfigured to provide two lanes and signalized left turns for both eastbound and westbound traffic, according to city officials.
The work began Tuesday night at 9 p.m. and will continue 24 hours a day until 7 a.m. on March 12.

Additionally, North Santa Monica Boulevard ("Big" Santa Monica) will be reduced to one lane in each direction until March 10.
Whittier Drive will not be impacted, and access from Wilshire Boulevard to and from Whittier Drive will be maintained at all times, officials said.

The lane closures will allow crews to work on a water main connection near the LA Country Club.
This stretch of road work on Wilshire will end just days before a much larger disruption is set to hit the thoroughfare. On March 17, a portion of Wilshire in Beverly Hills will shut down for three weeks due to subway construction.
