Major Coldwater Canyon Roadwork Begins Monday: What Commuters Should Know
A year-long construction project on Coldwater Canyon Drive will include lane closures. Motorists are being urged to seek alternate routes.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Valley commuters, beware: A year-long construction project on Coldwater Canyon Drive begins on Monday and authorities are urging motorists to seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
Lane closures for the project will begin Dec. 9 and continue through November 2025. The construction is centered on Coldwater Canyon Drive between Beverly and Monte Cielo drives.
Additionally, there will be construction on Monte Cielo Drive between Coldwater Canyon Drive and La Fontaine Court.

Work hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., excluding holidays.
The project includes reconstruction of damaged pavement; replacement of damaged curbs, gutters, sidewalks and driveway approaches; and the installation of new curb ramps and drainage pipes.
