Creative Entrepreneur Jeff Krauss Going from Introvert To Celebrity Events Powerhouse

His career started off when he was young when he was reluctant to promote parties saying it wasn’t for him. After watching people cut the line at a club, one of his friends had pestered him in being a party promoter.
“A friend of mine, who happens to be more extraverted than I am, because I am an introvert, says to me, ‘Jeff that’s what we got to do! We got to start promoting parties!”, recalls Krauss when his party planning career got off to a start.

“No way! Not for me! I don’t want to do that!”
After many times pester him to get him to do parties, Krauss finally gave in. It was the birth of his career that opened the door for many opportunities.

“Ok I will try this once. If it goes well, we’ll do it again,” Krauss recollecting when he decided to take off on the party planning situation. “If I don’t like it, don’t ever bother me about this again.”
He called friends and family about getting into the club and speaks to his sister that had connections to the promoter.
Years later, Krauss is thriving in the events industry throwing parties for the hottest celebrities including Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, George Clooney, Megan Fox, Gwen Stefani, and many more.
Prior to the moment at the club, he was an introvert. As time passed, he grew to be extraverted with people he was comfortable with and knows.
“I’ve been much more extraverted with those I’ve been comfortable with,” said Krauss about how much he has changed as a person. “I own the fact that I’m an introvert. I see it as a superpower because it allows people that I want to have deeper relationships with.”
Many public figures, entrepreneurs, and influencers with exorbitant number of followers may only one side of their story. Followers don’t always know the story of the people that they’re following on other social media platforms including Instagram or TikTok.
Krauss sets the record straight of the person he was before becoming the events producer that he is today.
Social media in today’s age has been the key driver in today’s age. Krauss’ record has spoken for itself as he has accomplished a lot in the hospitality events industry.
There are those on social media mistaken that mistaken people as social media influencers. He doesn’t see it that way, he describes himself a creative entrepreneur.
“I think social media is great because it allows people to see the experiences we put on,” said Krauss about the use of social media. “It reminds people of what I do. Therefore, it increases engagement that leads to more quality events.”
Platforms like Instagram and TikTok are influential in engagements that leads to new ideas, innovations, and events that has propelled Krauss to another level. It eventually leads to conversations from business to business that could elevate to business to personalization.
As introvert, Krauss sees it as a superpower to develop and maintain relationships with people he wants to know and get to work with. For him, it’s been a blessing because relationships matter in the long run.
For the New York native, he made his ambitions possible as a creative entrepreneur taking on projects that he loved which was throwing the best quality of parties.
Krauss isn’t just involved in throwing parties. He co-founded an online platform called FanRoom Live with Mitch Faulkner and Cedric the Entertainer during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of the FanRoom Live was to have fans interact with their favorite celebrities virtually where it gave them an opportunity to know them personally.
George Lopez was the first guest to appear on FanRoom Live prior to his Netflix comedy special. He was able to interact with his fans on the platform virtually on a personal basis.
FanRoom Live is still thriving today in the afterlife of the lockdown.
“We have an amazing team including Jae Benjamin and Stacy Toy,” said Krauss “We saw a bigger boost on Instagram because of some celebrities that we had one already had fanbases based on the TV shows they were in.”
Social media including Instagram has benefited for FanRoom Live giving it more recognition about the platform. Krauss has been a big contributor to the platform due to his existing relationships in the celebrity world.
“Followers saw on our social media posts of what celebrity public figures we were going to announce,” said Krauss about posting on social media before FanRoom Live events. “There’s a cross of people who are following us because they follow certain genres and people who are following us seeing what we do.”
Instagram has been a positive platform that has allowed FanRoom Live to gain attendees to meet and view their celebrities. Today, social media has been a tool for positive results for entrepreneurs like Krauss.
For Krauss, his passion has always been about projects that he’s passionate about and putting them in a positive light, whether it’s FanRoom Live or throwing the best party.
“We’re always looking to do things in a positive light and make people happy,” said Krauss. “Shine a light on talent and have conversations with their fans. “Everything we do is just professional and try to do the best we can.”
Instagram and TikTok have been the best ways for celebrities and influencers to connect with those who put together events behind the scenes. Krauss earned the respect of many celebrities and publicists in the entertainment industry throwing the best parties with the highest quality.
