Volunteer Friendly Visitors

Many homebound seniors are alone and isolated. We match volunteers to seniors who need a Friendly Visitor to share stories and enjoy some companionship. Friendly Visitors get as much out of volunteering as the seniors do!

Why become a Volunteer Friendly Visitor?

We are urgently seeking Friendly Visitor Volunteers in East County (including but not limited to: Bay Point, Pittsburg, Antioch, Oakley, and Brentwood).

Volunteer Friendly Helpers

If you’re homebound, it’s difficult to pick something up at the pharmacy, or at the grocery store. Friendly Helpers run errands for seniors who have no one else to rely on. It’s an easy way for those with a busy schedule to volunteer and give back.

Why become a Volunteer Friendly Helper?

1. Assist seniors with essential errands that they are not able to do on their own.

2. Extend a helping hand and show you care.

3. Maintain seniors' independence and well-being!

We are urgently seeking Friendly Helper Volunteers in West County (including but not limited to: Rodeo, Hercules, Pinole, Richmond, and El Cerrito).

Volunteer Friendly Callers

Friendly Callers are matched with seniors with similar interests for weekly phone calls. It’s a great way to make a phone pal and provide a senior an important connection that keeps them from feeling isolated.
