BSD Trustees to Receive Academic and Financial Reports
At Tuesday's School Board meeting, the trustees will discuss students' academic performance and last school year's budget.

When the Burlingame Elementary School District meets Tuesday, members will focus on the performance of students at the six district schools and the funding that keeps them running.
A public hearing on the sufficiency of instructional materials in the district falls early on the agenda. By law, the district must hold such a hearing annually to discuss if students receive the proper books and materials necessary for adequate education in social sciences, language arts, math and science.
Later in the meeting, students’ education will be further analyzed during the accountability progress report, which examines schools’ scores on state-wide tests determining Annual Yearly Progress (AYP) and (API) reports.
