Join the Fight to Protect Open Space
Optional tour of zero-net-energy Community Center offered

You’re invited to a free program on Thursday, May 15, to learn how you can protect open space on the Peninsula for hiking, parks and nature exploration and help restore areas like the San Vicente Redwoods, an old-growth forest that was burned during the CZU Wildfire.
Walter Moore of Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) will describe how POST volunteers saved precious tracts of land from development and created a 90,000-acre network of natural spaces where people and nature can connect and thrive. He'll also explain where help is needed to expand protected areas.
Presented by the Citizens Environmental Council, “Join the Fight to Protect Open Space” will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Burlingame Community Center, 850 Burlingame Ave., in Burlingame. There is no charge for admission, but registration is requested at https://PreserveOpenSpace.eventbrite.com.
