Nominations Open for Sustainable San Mateo County Awards

Nominate someone for a Sustainability Award or Youth Sustainability Award

Sustainable San Mateo County (SSMC) is now accepting nominations for its annual Sustainability Awards, Youth Sustainability Award and Green Building Award. These awards honor the visionaries, innovators and everyday heroes who are making local communities more sustainable through their impact on the environment, economy and equity. If you know an individual, nonprofit, business, school or government agency that is driving meaningful change—whether by protecting the environment, building a stronger local economy or advancing social equity—SSMC wants to hear their story.

Sustainability Award and Youth Sustainability Award nominations are due October 20. Final applications (for nominees invited to move forward) are due October 27. Green Building Award: Self-applications are accepted until November 3. Click here to get started: bit.ly/SSMC-Awards

Sustainability Award winners will be recognized from a pool of eligible applicants, which can include individuals; nonprofits, clubs or groups; businesses; educational institutions and government agencies.
