PHOTO GALLERY: Holiday Tree Lighting and Parade

Crowds of Burlingame residents huddled around City Hall Friday evening for the annual tree lighting ceremony before moving to Burlingame Avenue for the holiday parade. They counted down from 10 to one before breaking into applause as the tree lit up.

The newly formed Burlingame Glee Club and Burlingame Intermediate School Choir entertained the crowd, and Santa and Mrs. Claus made an appearance.

Local groups, organizations and bands then marched down a heavily lined Burlingame Avenue.
