Police Blotter: A Pirate and A Stolen Toothbrush

Monday, September 5

12:32 a.m. Subjects were skateboarding on the street at Marco Polo Way and Trousdale Drive.

1:59 a.m. A man approached a subject on the 1000 block of Burlingame Avenue asking for money and claiming to living in a tent at Washington Park. No tent was found.

9:25 p.m. A man was yelling and swearing on his cell phone at Cortez Avenue and Sherman Avenue, which was disturbing neighbors.

7:07 a.m. There was an injured raccoon at California Drive and Juanita Avenue.

10:29 a.m. A subject was sleeping in his car on the 500 block of Airport Boulevard. He was sent on his way.

8:43 p.m. A report of a suspicious person turned out to be a neighbor on the 1400 block of Montero Avenue.

Wednesday, September 7

11:02 a.m. A landlord and tenant on the 500 block of Airport Bouelvard argued about withholding mail.

12:22 p.m. A dachshund was loose on the 1400 block of Chapin Avenue. It was caught by store employees.

2:46 p.m. A 17-year-old on the 1100 block of Eastmooro Road was using a loud speaker in his car to give police commands to other drivers. His father removed and destroyed the loud speaker.

Thursday, September 8

7:13 a.m. A caller reported a man dressed like a pirate in the road at Burlingame Avenue and El Camino Real.

8:04 a.m. Burlingame Police received 14 total calls regarding the pirate sitting and standing on El Camino Real.

2:02 p.m. An electric toothbrush was stolen from the 1100 block of Broadway.
