Police Blotter: Jumping Fences and Lost Child

Thursday, September 22

1:52 a.m. An unknown subject on a bike tried stealing from an unlocked truck on the 900 block of Rose Court, but jumped the fence once noticed.

3:32 p.m. A vehicle was smoking in a parking lot on the 1100 block of Trousdale Drive.

4:48 p.m. A resident discovered a backpack with walkie talkies, a knife and gloves on the 900 block of Rose Court.

10:35 a.m. A citizen reported he was being threatened by a delivery truck driver on the 1800 block of El Camino Real. There was no merit to the threats, as both were swearing at each other.

11:25 a.m. Grafitti was found on a street sign at Carolan Avenue and Morrell Avenue.

1:31 p.m. A motorist and passenger were throwing objects from a car at California Drive and Carmelita. They were found to have marijuana and were cited.

Saturday, September 24

4:17 a.m. There was a report of subjects making a lot of noise. They were contacted and found to be talking loudly on the 1200 block of Floribunda Avenue.

9:35 a.m. A lost child at the Pet Parade was looking for a parent. The child was assisted and the parent was found.

5:57 p.m. Someone jumped a fence to a business on the 1800 block of Ogden Drive. He was taking a shortcut, but told not to go on private property.
