Police Blotter: Naked Baby Doll and Strange Juvenile Behavior

Saturday, August 27

7:44 a.m. Two subjects in a truck near the fire station on the 700 block of California Drive were contacted. They turned out to be painters waiting for the paint store to open.

2:29 p.m. Three juveniles threw water balloons at passing cars at Balboa Avenue and Carmelita Avenue.

5:30 p.m. There was a report of three juveniles acting strange at Howard Avenue and Myrtle Road. The police determined they were not acting strange, but doing normal kid activities.

8:06 p.m. A resident on the 1400 block of Bernal Avenue called 911 when she heard someone climb in her window. It was the neighbor kids playing hide and seek.

Sunday, August 28

8:46 a.m. There was a report of a driver potentially trying to cause an accident and challenging others to fight at Howard Avenue and Lorton Avenue.

10:14 a.m. Residents on the 1900 block of Davis Drive reported their house and car were egged overnight.

7:01 p.m. Two boys at Cortez Avenue and Sherman Avenue on skateboards were in possession of a naked baby doll that they were beating up, which in turn was upsetting people around them. Their mother were contacted regarding their behavior.

Monday, August 29

1:10 a.m. Subjects were throwing utility cones and garbage cans into the road at El Camino Real and Lincoln Avenue.

1:22 p.m. A city parking meter was vandalized on the 200 block of Lorton Avenue.

7:55 p.m. There was a report of a bicyclist almost hitting a pedestrian at Broadway and El Camino Real.

Tuesday, August 30

2:20 p.m. A caller reported a leaky roof on the 1100 block of Cabrillo Avenue. She thought it was caused by someone climbing on the roof, but no one was ever seen on the roof.

11:36 p.m. There was a report of loud subjects in a hot tub on the 1000 block of Cadillac Way.
