It’s kitten season at the Peninsula Humane Society, and the pictured cutie is only one of more than 30 kittens up for adoption. Kittens are typically high energy pets. They are very playful and lots of fun. A kitten usually doesn’t settle down until it’s about one year old.
If you think having one kitten is fun, consider adopting two. Not only are two kittens a hoot to watch and play with, they’ll keep each other company when you’re at work or out running errands. If you think a kitten might be the perfect pet for you, there are plenty at PHS waiting for a home.
If you’re interested in adopting a kitten, come to the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA at 12 Airport Blvd. in San Mateo next to the Coyote Point Park. The shelter is open for adoptions Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends from 11 a.m. to 6 a.m. For directions and information, call 650-340-7022 or visit www.PHS-SPCA.org.
