Rescue Pet of the Week: Thumbelina

Looking for a new furry friend?

Thumbelina, Thumbelina, tiny little thing...this wonderful song was not written about this robust 11-year-old spayed female named Thumbelina. She is a big boned lady, and she just loves her treats.

Thumbelina was surrendered to PHS because someone in her previous family developed allergies. Thumbelina needs time to adjust, but once she gets to know you, she is very sweet and will seek affection.

If you’re interested in adopting Thumbelina, come to the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA at 12 Airport Boulevard in San Mateo next to the Coyote Point Park.

The shelter is open for adoptions Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends from 11 a.m. to 6 a.m. For directions and information, call 650-340-7022 or visit www.PHS-SPCA.org<http://www.PHS-SPCA.org>.
