The Burlingame Soccer Club (BSC) 99G Rays are proud to announce that five players from their team have been chosen to train in the Region 2 NorCal Premier Player Development Program (PDP) 99-00 training pool. The objective of the PDP is to identify, develop and showcase the top soccer players within each age group in Northern California, provide specialized training with experienced coaches and offer opportunities for college, U.S. national team and international professional soccer club exposure.

The selection of players to the PDP pool was based on an independent evaluation by NorCal Premier of individual players who were recommended into the program by various coaches. These five Rays players will continue to train in the pool and hope to make it onto the PDP team roster for the October 23, 2011 cross-regional playdate.

Of these five players, Alysse LaMond, Vanessa Rangel and Rhea Subramanian were selected into the Region 2 PDP team roster for the May 15, 2011 cross-regional playdate earlier this year.

The 99G Rays are coached by Luciano Fusco. The objective is to establish a good foundation for the girls and facilitate future developmental stages. Coach Luciano places player and team development above winning. Players are encouraged to take risks in their game without the fear of losing.
