First Presbyterian Church Preschool is now open for Summer and Fall enrollment for children ages 2-5 years old. - Christian play-based developmentally appropriate emergent curriculum. Summer Camp with Vacation Bible School sessions (June 12-August 18) in 5 flexible sessions from ages 2-5 years old. New School year 2023-24 beginning in Fall (starting September 5). We accept 2-year old non-potty trained children (1:5 ratio), and a 1:7 ratio for our 3 and 4 year old children. We have a very spacious, safe and well-kept facility where kids have fun learning. We are the only organization that delivers essential services and personalized support to connect the people living in poverty among us to the full range of resources and services they need. More than just ensuring our clients are fed, clothed, healthy, and housed, we help them create their own stability and remain an active, successful part of the community. Over recent years, more and more families in San Mateo County have been thrust into poverty. From the COVID-19 pandemic, to increasing wealth inequality, to the impacts of inflation and the housing crisis, the financial pressures on our neighbors have grown. Through it all, Samaritan House has been here to help – keeping pace with the demand and opening up new possibilities for people living in poverty. The first day of school always holds a certain significance. New clothes, new teachers, new classmates--a blank slate for the new year ahead. As such a momentous occasion, the first day of school is often highly documented by excited parents. I found a couple old photos of myself on some first days of school, probably from around the first and second grade. Now it's your turn.
