Week Ahead: What's Happening in Burlingame

- The City Council will hold a meeting Monday at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers.
- On Tuesday, a public workshop will be held on the Burlingame Avenue Streetscape Improvement at 6 p.m. in the Lane Community Room. The workshop intends to kick off the design process by discussing issues and opportunities for the downtown area.
- The City Council and Planning Commission will hold a joint study session Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in the Lane Community Room regarding wireless facilities. Regulations of wireless facilities and the legal limitations of the city will be discussed as an extension to the city-wide conversation on cell phone towers in residential Burlingame areas.
- The Beautification Commission meets at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday in City Hall.
- The Burlingame Public Library will hold a College Financial Aid Seminar at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Lane Community Room. Both students and parents are invited to attend.
- On Sunday, Roosevelt Elementary School will hold its annual Chili Cook-Off and Barbecue at the school from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
