101 Freeway SigAlert: Repair Underway On Damaged Guardrail

WOODLAND HILLS, CA — The California Highway Patrol issued an hours-long SigAlert for the southbound Venture (101) Freeway Sunday morning in the Woodland Hills area.

A solo-vehicle crash blocked the Fallbrook Avenue offramp and damaged roughly 50-foot of guardrail, according to the CHP. The crash was reported just before 7 a.m., and authorities expect the repair work to take about 3 hours.

No one was injured in the crash. The cause remains under investigation.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area.
