Calabasas Woman Identified In Fatal Crash

Authorities identified the woman who died in Saturday's fatal traffic collision as Calabasas resident.

CALABASAS, CA — A woman, who was a Calabasas resident, died when a white Tesla sedan crashed into a tree in Woodland Hills.

Ilse Villalobos was 25 years old, according to the coroner's office.

The crash was reported at 10:09 p.m. Saturday in the 22000 block of West Dumetz Road, at Topanga Canyon Boulevard, said Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

Firefighters used hydraulic tools to free two people from the wreckage and provide care for them, Humphrey said. One woman was found outside the vehicle.

Two of the women were rushed to a regional trauma center in critical condition and the other woman was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.

All three were described by Humphrey as "young." He did not specify whether the deceased woman had been freed from the wreckage or found elsewhere. Her name was not released.

Photos from the scene showed firefighters working to free the women from the Tesla.
