Every year, this carnival attracts between 10,000 and 15,000 guests. Last year's carnival was a big hit, outselling years previous and featuring a beer and wine garden for the first time.
The foundation helps fund local schools through donations with a focus on decreasing class sizes, adding counselors and involving the local community in public education, according to the organization's website. The foundation is run by parents on a volunteer basis and has donated over $1.5 million to the district since 2011, according to its website.
