SANTA BARBARA, California — Gayle Nagy, a well-known mortgage lender in the area, has added Reverse Mortgage Expert Witness to her credentials.

In addition to providing all types of conventional mortgage products to her many clients throughout California, Nagy has specialized for more than 15 years in the field of reverse mortgages, a segment of mortgage lending that has seen a huge increase in demand as the baby boomer generation ages. She is an expert in reverse mortgage products, designed for senior citizens who are seeking a way to access their home equity without taking on additional monthly payments.

“I enjoy counseling and guiding seniors to help them select the reverse mortgage product that is best suited for their goals and needs,” Nagy said. “Over the years, I have counseled hundreds of seniors about various reverse mortgage options. As my reputation has grown, becoming a reverse mortgage expert witness was a natural extension of my skills, especially as the amount of elder financial fraud litigation increases.”

Gayle Nagy believes that her expertise in reverse mortgage lending can assist law firms as they prepare for future claims and litigation, specifically against reverse mortgage lenders and brokers who did not accurately disclose or fully explain the nature of the adjustable rate Jumbo reverse products.

A graduate of UC Santa Barbara, Nagy holds both a California real estate broker’s license and a California mortgage loan originator’s license. She has honed her skills during more than 30 years, first as a real estate broker, then as a mortgage advisor and loan officer with various firms throughout Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.
