Network with UCLA Health about Health and Air Quality

Join with business professionals and community members as they come together to learn about respiratory health and air quality.

The Calabasas Chamber of Commerce hosts UCLA Health for a luncheon as business professionals and community members come together to learn about air quality and its effects on health. Join other Calabasas residents on Thursday, July 17th from 11:30am to 1:00pm.

Guest speaker Dr. Samuel Haslam gives a presentation on "The Invisible Threat: Air Quality and its Impact on Respiratory Health." From vehicle emissions and industrial pollution to wildfire smoke and indoor pollutants can lead to a range of health problems, including:

  • Respiratory issues: Asthma, bronchitis, and emphysema.
  • Cardiovascular diseases: Heart attacks and strokes.
  • Cancer: Lung, and potentially other types of cancer.
  • Immune system impairment: Increased susceptibility to infections.

Business owners, professionals, and community members are invited to register for this networking opportunity that includes a delicious heart healthy Mediterranean buffet and always ends with a fun raffle. Chamber Members who register before July 10th get an early bird discount and pay only $50. After July 10th, Chamber Member admission is $60. Non-member admission is $75.
