Service Restoration Begins After Long Spectrum Outage In Calabasas
Some Calabasas residents were without Spectrum services overnight and into Friday morning.

CALABASAS, CA — Calabasas residents reported a long Spectrum outage Thursday night and Friday morning. Spectrum started to restore service Friday morning, according to the city of Calabasas.
It was not immediately clear when service would be completely restored or where the outage was centered.
"Spectrum says it was a DWP crew in Woodland Hills that accidentally cut a cable feeding into Calabasas, cutting off service. The problem is now repaired and service is coming back online, but it may still take some time to be fully restored," the city said in a tweet Friday morning.

Service started to waver just before 9 p.m. Thursday, according to the city. Spectrum told the city there was a "fiber cut" impacting the area, and that repair crews were in the field to diagnose and repair the damage, the city said in a tweet. Residents were still reporting outages Friday morning.
