A Sneak Peak of the Feature Film "Obsessions"

After a freak tragedy, celebrity pop star Maria Breeze (played by Olga Safari) and her boyfriend Danny Pate (played by Bobby Slaski) arrange for an exclusive tell-all to settle the rumors surrounding her accident. However, when lead reporter Lily Miller from Off the Record (played by Andrea Figliomeni) arrives on the scene, the lines between professionalism and fandom quickly begin to shift. As they welcome Miller into their world, secrets are exposed, trusts are betrayed and truths - more sinister than could be expected - are revealed. As the facade of perfection begins to fade, one thing remains clear… fame is just an illusion and infamy is an unstoppable obsession.

“Shooting Obsessions during the pandemic was certainly challenging,” states Aashish Chanana, the film's award-winning director. “But I have always thrived on pressure and thanks to our incredible team, we were able to overcome these issues and produce an incredible movie – and I cannot wait for everyone to see it!”

Aashish Chanana is a native of Mumbai, India, and was a child prodigy. He won the “President's Gold Medal” for inventing and designing India’s first electric car while still in high school and was awarded “Youngest Director” at the age of 23.
