Water Main Break Results in Emergency Supply Shutdown, Traffic Disruption
Crews are on the scene making repairs; westbound Calabasas Road has been closed and traffic is being diverted.
A 10-inch water main break occurred on Calabasas Road early Monday morning in the 23700 block, between Park Granada and Commons Way, water district officials said.
The failure of the water main line has caused the emergency shutdown of water to local customers, said Jeff Reinhardt of the Las Virgenes Municipal Water District.
The breakdown took place at approximately 4:30 a.m. Monday morning, Reinhardt said.
